Mission Trip Planned To
Guatemala
in April 2012
Passion and
Obedience compel Christians to share the Good
News of the Gospel. When a Christian’s heart is correctly
aligned with the Lord’s we will have a burning desire to share
Jesus with people. The Lord desires that all people are
saved and His church exists to lead people to the point of
surrender in our Savior Jesus. Missions work is the act of
taking this message of Hope to people who would not necessarily
walk into a church or even have access to the Gospel. And
if the love of people is not compelling enough, Jesus Himself
commands us to go and make disciples in His Name.
Southport
Baptist Church’s
mission committee has put together another opportunity to serve
the people of
Guatemala by offering a short
term mission trip to La Antigua in April 21-28, 2012.
Please prayerfully consider if the Lord is asking you to serve
Him by serving as a missions team member. Connecting with
people by connecting them to Jesus is what this trip is intended
to do. The sign up deadline for this trip in April will
be October 13, 2010.

At NC Baptist Men our vision is "Every
Christian sharing God's love with hurting people through word
and deed". There are 14 different ministries of NC Baptist Men.
We believe that all Christians are called, gifted and sent. Our
desire is to help churches involve their members in missions and
ministry in Jesus' name.
We seek to:
- Initiate and Network to discover mission
needs.
- Educate and Disciple people concerning
their own spiritual gifts and abilities.
- Motivate and Lead people in meeting
those mission needs.

is to make disciples of all peoples in fulfillment of the Great

Over 6,000 people groups - 1.7 billion people - still live with
little or no access to the Gospel.

Baptist Convention, the nation's largest evangelical
denomination, claiming more than 40,000 churches with nearly 16
million members.

USA
(MNN) -- Southern Baptists report another shortfall in their
Lottie Moon Christmas offering. The results were just announced.
Southern Baptists gave $145.6 million dollars for international
missions. That's $3 million less than 2009 and $8.3 million less
than the Southern Baptist International Mission Board needs to
meet their 2011 budget. IMB President Tom Elliff says they won't
retreat. He says it's critical to take the Gospel to those who
haven't heard.
